These were kind of unique, two stroke engine, four speed manual transmission, front wheel drive, the shifter was on the steering column. They didn’t weigh much and that was a good thing because they didn’t have much power. A classmate in high school had one, it was comfortable enough, kind of sporty and had a good size trunk to hold his guitar and amplifier. He had a red Harmony Rocket electric guitar, a Silvertone 2 x 12 tube driven amplifier and well practiced basic skill with it. Love the reverb in those 60s era amps.
Later on, a lot later on, I had several different models of Saabs, every one of them was a delight to drive and pretty easy to work on.
