They were not the most reliable motorcycle but they were a load of fun to ride. Check out the drum brakes on the front, right foot shifter, no mirrors, no helment, knobby tires and cross-over single exhaust set up. I liked the Triumphs better than the BSAs, of that period. Norton also made a somewhat more reliable bike of similar design. I went from a Honda 50 to Harley Electro Glide in one step. Now, I ride a Goldwing and love it.
