On this day, in 1969, the bodies of Jack Yablonski and his family were found murdered and had been dead for at least a week. Yablonski had been Boyle’s opponent in an election for presidency of The United Mine Worker’s. Boyle hired his killers after Yablonski asked the U.S. Labor Department to investigate the election for possible fraud.
Fraud? By a union thug? During the LBJ administration? Nah, not a chance! These days, the unions just get the government to do their dirty work, for them.
